Jeff Thoreson is a second generation piano technician, apprenticed under his late Father, David Thoreson, RPT. He has a Bachelor of Music Degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN and Master of Arts from Seattle Pacific University. He began working on piano repairs with his father when he was 4 years old. Throughout his college years he spent summers working in the family piano shop doing piano renovation work. After several years of mastering the art of tuning, as a second career in addition to teaching, he opened Thoreson's Piano Service in the fall of 2000. He resides in Snohomish, Washington with his family and services pianos throughout the Puget Sound region.
